These printable cards will be an easy way to teach children safety tips for Halloween. Go over the tips at school or at home. Handout these printable cards one by one.
Tips include:
- check your costume. Make sure nothing is hanging down where you might catch your foot and cause you to trip
- invite your parents to go with you
- visit homes of your friends and neighbors and people you know
- wear reflective, glow in the dark or carry a flashlight
- cross at corners where there are lights and crosswalks
- use sidewalks
- look left, look right, then look left again before crossing
- watch for cars turning and backing up
- put your phone away and pay attention
- check all candy | do not eat any candy that is unwrapped or looks suspicious
- safe, happy & fun!
