Big News: My Brand Has a New Name!
After a lot of thought — and honestly, a lot of hesitation — I finally did it. My brand name is changing from MrsQuimbyReads to MrsQuimbyElementaryResources!
This feels like big news because the change reflects something that has been true for a long time: my work has grown far beyond reading and ELA resources. While literacy will always be at the heart of what I create, my store has always represented a much fuller picture of what happens in a real elementary classroom.
I’ve created resources for PreK–3 classrooms across every subject area, including math, science, social studies, and integrated learning activities. I’ve also created teacher resources for classroom decor, organization tools, and classroom management resources — materials designed to support teachers throughout their entire day, not just during reading time. The name MrsQuimbyReads does not capture the scope of what I offer or the vision I have for supporting elementary educators.
MrsQuimbyElementaryResources better reflects my mission: providing thoughtful, engaging, and practical resources that help teachers create joyful, well-run classrooms where students can thrive. I wish to reach more students and teachers with my new brand name.
This change isn’t a new beginning — it’s an honest update that aligns my brand with what I’ve been creating all along. Many of the resources will still show the MrsQuimbyReads logo brand, as it will take some time to revise 490 resources.
